Bull rider from Caroline, barrel racer from Airdrie among champions crowned at 2026 FCA Finals

The Foothills Cowboy Association season finishes up with frantic action at FCA Finals.

The best of the best for this year were determined during two days of competition at the Brawn Family Arena on the Olds College campus on September 25th and 26th.

Among the local FCA champs for 2026 are Daxton Pringle from Caroline in bull riding, Elaina Black from Airdrie in ladies barrel racing, Austin Simpson from Crossfield in novice horse riding, Koaltyn Ogilvie from Sundre in junior bull riding, and Taydee May Bezjack from Bowden in junior barrel racing.

Also making it into the winner’s circle for this season are Charlie Guinn from Kananaskis in saddlebronc, Hayden Stav from Turner Valley in junior steer riding, Jace McPeak Young from Lougheed in tie down roping, Brynn Scoville from Coronation in steer wrestling, Natalie Wittmack from Consort in ladies breakaway roping, Sloan McKean from Lacombe in junior breakaway roping, Katie Sharpe from Foothills County in pee wee barrel racing.

The team roping header winner is Chad Gulick from Wetaskiwin and the team roping heeler champ for this year is Cole Brain from Red Deer County.
