Unofficial 2026 Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo results

Kyle Lucas from Carstairs was one of the local winners at the 2026 Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo over the weekend as he placed first in tie-down roping (8.9 seconds).

Morgan Grant from Didsbury and Brendan Laye from Consort tied for first in steer wrestling (3.6 seconds).

The lone bull rider to turn in a qualified ride during the two nights of action in Olds was Jacob Garnder from Fort St. John, B.C. with an 89 point ride on C5 Rodeo’s Alcatraz.

Other unofficial winners included Ethan Mazurenko from Thorhild in bareback (87.5 points), the tandem of Kavis Drake from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Denim Ross from Botha in team roping (4.4 seconds), Lucas Macza from High River in saddle bronc, Kirby Penttila from Calgary in barrel racing (17.76 seconds), and Suttyn Volz from Marwayne in breakaway roping (2.6 seconds).

Kyla Kelly from Red Deer County wound up in seconds place in barrel racing (17.85 seconds).

The money won at the 2026 Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo counts towards the 2027 Pro Rodeo Canada season.

The champions for 2026 will be crowned in Edmonton from October 7th through the 10th at the Canadian Finals Rodeo.
