Before the sun goes down on the summer of 2026, it is Didsbury’s time to shine.
Vair Whitlow, Director with the Didsbury Ag Society, notes that they are ready to roll for the annual fair and rodeo weekend. He says “well we’ve done quite a few improvements to the grounds and we should have a fun rodeo. We built a new patio on our beer gardens, done that. Fixed up the arena up quite a bit. We’ve got a full slate of things for adults, kids, everyone to do.”
The Foothills Cowboy Association rodeo is at 6pm on Friday, August 21st and 1pm on Saturday, August 22nd at the exhibition grounds.
Saturday morning will also include the pancake breakfast at the Didsbury Elks Lodge and the parade downtown. Sunday’s line up out at the exhibition grounds features a gymkhana and the Clifford Scott Tractor Pull.
