A heartfelt thank you is being passed along to the community and everyone who contributed to the annual Step ‘n Stride event.
Dennis Thompson with the Olds & District Parkinson’s Support Group points out that it took place on September 19th at the Rotary Athletic Park of Olds and they were able to double their $10,000 fundraising goal. Thompson says “and reached an unofficial total of $20,000 and as I’m understanding, at this point, that it is still rising. This is, for us, a remarkable community response and it will help to further the programs and services that the people within this community here affected by Parkinson’s disease will be able to access.”
