Métis dancers, vendors among new features for Canada Day at Innisfail Historical Village

There a a pair of days of celebrating our great nation coming up next week in the Town of Innisfail.

The Town of Innisfail kicks it off at 5:30pm on June 30th at Napoleon Sports Field with activities, food trucks, and live entertainment.

Then on July 1st, Teresa Royston – Manager at the Innisfail Historical Village – invites everyone to join them for a full slate of events starting at 9am with a pancake breakfast. Royston says “we usually get quite a few people coming through the gates, like around 800 to 900. Everybody just loves coming here for Canada Day. We’ve got local bands all day and then we’ve got Métis dancers too at 11am. That is a new thing too this year and then flag raising with the Innisfail Legion.”

Canada Day at the Innisfail Historical Village will also include bouncy castles, face painting, and vendors. See the full line up on the Village’s Facebook page.
