Soccer, vendor market and more in store on Canada Day in Didsbury

Canada’s 159th birthday is one week away and the Didsbury Museum will once again be putting on a historic celebration this year.

Museum Manager Dawn Stewart expects over 50 volunteers will help out to put on the July 1st festivities in Town. Stewart says “Zion Church is coming over with their inflatables. Didsbury Minor Soccer have set up the soccer game. Members from the Didsbury Municipal Library setting up a mini golf, like it is just amazing how much the community is coming out to support everything and partnering up with the museum.”

With the Royal Canadian Legion’s 100th anniversary this year, Carstairs/Didsbury members will be on hand as the cake is served at 1pm at the Museum.

Canada Day in Didsbury will also include a full vendor market in Moose Fence Park from noon until 4pm.

See the full line up on the Didsbury Museum website.
