Crazy Carstairs Christmas goes today

The Town of Carstairs is hosting its annual Crazy Carstairs Christmas tonight from 5 to 8 pm downtown and at the Carstairs Half Century Club.

The event transforms the town into a festive winter wonderland for families, with late-night shopping and special deals from local merchants.

Visitors can enjoy free hot dogs, hot chocolate, and cookies, as well as visits with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, and a fireworks display to conclude the evening.

Children can also take part in Santa’s Gone Loonie, selecting and wrapping gifts for family and friends for one dollar per item, with donations accepted at the Town Office through the end of the workday.

The event promises to be a safe, family-friendly celebration and a highlight of the holiday season for the Carstairs community.
