Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday – June 8 – Lainey Wilson and John Mayer

This week’s Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday spotlight is on Baskin, Louisiana born Lainey Wilson. Wilson debuted in 2014 and has steadily been building her career since then. She has been nominated for dozens of awards and has won dozens as well. In 2022 she made her acting debut on the hit television series Yellowstone. Series creator Taylor Sheridan enjoyed her performance so much he made her a recurring character in the series for season five.

Lainey Wilson released her fifth studio album and has been very busy touring. Her 2025 tour found her crossing the North America twice. This year she will be in Alberta for Country Thunder June 26 28 in Calgary. Wilson has found time to record new music but just hasn’t had pause in her tour schedule that would allow her to record a new album. But don’t worry, I’m sure she will take the time soon. Wilson’s latest single is a collaboration with John Mayer titled Phone, Keys, Wallet and is our feature today on Lammle’s Western Wear New Music Monday.
