This week’s Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday spotlight is on Singing and Songwriting Duo Thelma and James. Country music singer/songwriters MacKenzie Porter and Jake Ethridge found success individually and after the got married decided they would try for success as a duo. They adopted pseudonyms and created the duo Thelma and James. Although they aren’t really pseudonyms as Thelma is just one of MacKenzie’s middle names and James is Jake’s actual legal name. Thy soon found as much success as a duo as they’d had as solo acts. While both still operate as solo artists, they split their time between solo and duo careers
Their first single “Happy Ever After You” earned them a gold certification in Canada and their success just grew from there. After several successful singles, Thelma and James add their next soon to be hit single “Alternate Ending” and it is our feature today on Lammle’s Western Wear New Music Monday.
