A Scandinavian adventure awaits you this weekend in Red Deer.
Julie MacRae with the Norwegian Laft Hus Society says their annual festival runs from 10am until 3pm on Saturday, June 13th with plenty of unique sights to see. She says “well the goats on the roof for sure, and the fjord horses, and the lundehund dogs are really an amazing dog that people should come and see. Yeah and the Scandinavian dancing for sure, they are some of the highlights.”
There is free admission to Saturday’s festival and they are located in Heritage Square on 47th Avenue in Red Deer. Check out more details on the Norwegian Laft Hus Society and Museum’s website.
