Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday – May 4 – Owen Reigling – Love Hate Love

This week’s Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday spotlight is on Mildmay Ontario’s Owen Riegling. Riegling’s music career started when he independently released his debut single “Smoke Man” in July of 20219. The song would go on to be rereleased as part of a 4 song EP released in September of the following year. Owen would go on to win the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase Contest in August of 2022. By the time he’d signed with Universal Music in June of 2023, Riegling was a hot commodity on the Canadian Country Music scene. He even appeared in Olds during the 2024 Oldstoberfest weekend.

Since his appearance at Oldstoberfest, Owen Rieglingg’s life has been incredibly busy and incredibly successful. He won the Canadian Country Music Association’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year as well as Songwriter of the Year award in 2024 for “Old Dirt Roads”. He’s been on cross country tours through Canada and has been nominated for a Juno and won several other industry awards. And just a little while ago released his latest single “Love Hate Love”. Which also happens to be this week’s feature on Lammle’s Western Wear New Music Monday.
