FCC named Olds College Partner of the Year for 2nd time

Farm Credit Canada has been named the 2025 Partner of the Year by Olds College, for the second time in the last 5 years.

The announcement was made at AgSmart, the college’s annual agriculture and technology expo July 29th through 31st.

FCC is the first organization to receive the award twice, having also been recognized in 2020. OC says that the repeated recognition reflects FCC’s long-standing commitment to innovation, research, and education in agriculture.

FCC’s support has helped launch and expand projects like the Smart Farm Operations Centre, the AgExpert Field initiative, and several land and forage research studies.

FCC also played a key role in creating the Producer Panel, which ensures producers help guide the direction of emerging ag technology.

College Vice President Todd Ormann says in a news release that FCC’s support is not a one-year commitment but a lasting partnership that has grown over time.

FCC Executive Vice President Todd Klink says the collaboration helps advance agriculture in Canada while supporting the next generation of farmers.

AgSmart continues to draw industry leaders, researchers, and producers to Olds, with a strong focus on innovation and practical farm solutions.

The expo wraps up with day 3 today, find out details at Ag Smart.ca.
