Support history in Carstairs at annual Pioneer Supper and Valentine’s Dance

Love will be in the air this week at the Carstairs Heritage Centre.

The 37th annual Pioneer Supper and Valentine’s Dance is on Friday, February 13th at the Carstairs Community Hall.

Curator/Manager John Cole highlights the fact that it is an extremely important event for the museum. He says “it is our largest fundraiser of the year. As I’m sure most of you are aware, museums aren’t exactly rolling in dough and so we’re not able to continue to do what we do without the support of the community and on that note we are a registered charity, so we are capable of furnishing people with tax receipts if you’re interested in supporting the museum but are unable to make it to the event this year.”

Contact the Carstairs Heritage Centre for tickets to the Pioneer Supper and Valentine’s Dance. It features music from The Plaiders, the World Famous Pie Auction, and more with doors opening at 5pm.
