Parker McCollum was born in Conroe Texas in the early 1990s. By the time he was beginning high school he was playing violin in his school’s band. At age 13 he learned to play guitar and began writing his own songs. At age 21 he released his first single called “Highway” which lead to interest from producers and labels. in 2015 he released “The Lonesome Kid”, his first full album. His subsequent singles have all done well with most of them breaking into the top 40. His latest single, “What Kinda Man” currently sits at Number 11 on the Billboard Country chart and it is the spotlight single for this week’s Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday.
