A search for a wanted man has led to charges being laid by Olds RCMP.
He was located in the Town of Olds at the Motel 8 and a search warrant was executed in the room and a number of stolen items including jewelry, and airsoft pistols were recovered.
The man, who is a resident of Olds, faces two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
After being remanded into custody, he is set to appear in court in Didsbury on November 3rd.
In a post on the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Alberta (Olds RCMP Deatchment) Facebook page, it is noted that “Olds RCMP remains fully committed in building safer communities by working in partnership with our communities as well as through investigate and enforcement efforts.”
