Residential break and enters in Carstairs area being investigated by Didsbury RCMP

Mounties say an unknown suspect was observed trespassing in several backyards on September 20th and at about 3am the same day there were a pair of residential break and enters.

It happened in the Carstairs area.

First, police say the suspect entered through an unlocked door and stole a purse. Second, the suspect entered another residence – also through an unlocked door – but left the same purse behind after removing credit cards and cash. Since that time additional property has been reported stolen, according to Didsbury RCMP.

To assist in the investigation, police are seeking surveillance of the suspect or any other unreported incidents of theft on September 20th in the Carstairs area. Contact the Didsbury RCMP Detachment, your local police or CRIMESTOPPERS if you have any pertinent information to pass along.
