‘Absolutely wonderful’ spring gala hosted by Olds Health Care Fundraising Committee

The Olds Health Care Fundraising Committee held its spring gala last weekend and it was sold out.

Vice Chair Sylvia Harder highlights the fact that it was absolutely wonderful and the money raised will go towards the greatest needs of essential equipment upgrades, mostly at the Olds Hospital. Harder says “we had a little donor highlight which really touched the hearts of the attendees. I think that went over very well. Overall, the event was well executed, well attended and we hope to continue this momentum where we have a common belief that we can really make a big impact in rural health care.”

She thanks all of their sponsors, those who added items to the silent auction, and everyone who attended the Spring Gala at the Olds College Alumni Centre. The entertainment from Lewis and Royal was well accepted with much laughter and clapping, according to Harder. She notes that contributions can still be made online at oldshealthdonations.com.
