Going thrifting: St. Stephen’s CWL holding annual garage sale fundraiser

Is it deals you are looking for?

There should be plenty of them this weekend at the garage sale fundraiser for the St. Stephen’s Cahtolic Women’s League in Olds.

Judy Wahlstrom, one of the coordinators for the CWL garage sale, notes they have an amazing assortment of stuff and there will be lunch available for purchase as well. She says “this is our fundraiser of the year. This is our major fundraiser. We use it to make donations to various local charities, provincial charities, international charities, and of course we support our local Parish as well.”

Wahlstrom points out that they accept cash or cheque only for the garage sale and the hours for it at St. Stephen’s Parish on 57th Avenue are from 9:30 until 6 on Friday and 9 until 2 on Saturday.  According to Wahlstrom, they have an amazing assortment of stuff and there will be lunch available for purchase as well. She says “anything in the kitchen ware department, home decor, we have some tools, we have small appliances, lots of furniture this year – which is a real bonus for us. We will be running a bake sale, we have books, lots of Christmas stuff, and clothing.”
