Family activity kits and more part of Innisfail’s Countdown to Christmas event

The Town of Innisfail will be brightening up the night this week.

Ken Kowalchuk, Communications and Marketing Manager, invites the community out for their Countdown to Christmas event on Friday, November 21 at the Innisfail Cenotaph, next to the Legion.

Kowalchuk says “events start at 5:30. There is performances by Joy’s School of Dance followed by the Innisfail High School Band. Now during that we will be serving hot chocolate and cookies provided by the Innisfail FCSS and those are available at the Coffee Cottage. There will also be family activity kits available from the Innisfail and Area Family Resource Network.” Innisfail’s tree lighting ceremony will then follow tonight at 6:15.
