Olds College basketball season openers at RKC, Broncos head to Lakeland College for rodeo and women’s hockey

The ACAC court sport seasons start this weekend.

Olds College’s volleyball teams begin on the road at the University of Alberta-Augustana tonight (October 17th) and at NAIT tomorrow (October 18th), while the Broncos women’s basketball team is at home to host the U-A-A Vikings today at 6pm at the Ralph Klein Centre and the men will follow at 8.

More basketball at the RKC is coming up on Saturday when OC’s women welcome NAIT to Town at 6pm. The Broncos men will tip off versus the Ooks at 8 o’clock.

Meanwhile, the Lakeland Rustlers and the Olds College Broncos are set to battle it out in two different sports this weekend.

The Broncos visit Vermilion for Lakeland College’s Fall Classic Rodeo, while Olds College will clash with the Rustlers on the ice in ACAC women’s hockey for three games in the next three days.

Lastly, the final home soccer game of the season will see Olds College’s women’s team celebrate its graduating players when the Broncos welcome U-A-A to Richardson Pioneer Field on Saturday, October 18th at 1pm.
