The pesto’s yet to come: Grizzlys seeking win over Whitecourt, pasta donations for M.V. Food Bank

The local Alberta Junior Hockey League club is dishing out a saucer pass for fans to be a penne pal and support the Mountain View Food Bank.

Kevin Watson, Manager of Business Operations for the Olds Grizzlys, explains what they’re stirring up for National Pasta Day. He says “so bring a food donation or some pasta for the Mountain View Food Bank and get entered to win some gift cards from Boston Pizza here in Olds. So a win-win situation. Helping out the Mountain View Food Bank with some pasta – which is always needed I think – and then maybe a chance to win some gift cards and to go and enjoy some pasta at Boston Pizza.”

Don’t be fusilli – bring along rotini, macaroni, spaghetti, any of your favorite pasta to the game on Friday, October 17th at 7pm when the Black & Gold (2-7-0-0) welcome the Whitecourt Wolverines (7-2-0-0) to the Olds Sportsplex.
