Election forum for Town of Olds candidates on October 7

The Olds & District Chamber of Commerce is offering the community a chance to get informed ahead of the October 20th municipal election.

The Town of Olds has a total of 15 candidates running for six seats at the council table. There are two candidates running for Mayor including current councillor Dan Daley and former Mayor Michael Muzychka.

The Olds Chamber has an election forum slated for this evening (October 7th) from 6:30 until 9 at the Fine-Arts & Multi-media Centre on the Olds College campus. Doors will open at 6 o’clock.

Meanwhile, there are three advanced voting dates in the Town of Olds ahead of the municipal general election on October 20th. The first advanced vote in Olds is on Thursday, October 9th from 4pm until 8 o’clock at Jean’s Place in the Community Connection Centre on 51st Avenue. Others will follow at the same location on Thursday, October 16th from 8am until noon, and on Saturday, October 18th from 10am until 3pm.
