Vigen, Laboucane leading Rangeland Derby aggregate standings heading into Night 7

As heard on 96.5 The Ranch, the top time of the night on Wednesday at the Rangeland Derby belonged to Calgary’s Chanse Vigen.

The trip around the track in 1:12.85 is the second day money run he has made during the 2025 Calgary Stampede’s chuckwagon competition. He has also been second three times and fourth on the other day.

Heading into Night 7 Vigen and his VisitLethbridge.com outfit (7:14.95) is sitting first in the aggregate standings with over two seconds between him and Jamie Laboucane (7:17.51) from St. Walburg, Saskatchewan who is sitting second in his Panorama Advisory Group wagon. Rae Croteau Jr. from Rapid View, Saskatchewan is third in his Charger Electric wagon (7:22.09), Logan Gorst from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan is fourth in his CDN outfit (7:22.85), and Obrey Motowylo from Hoadley is fifth in his Shel-Bar Electronic Industries Ltd. wagon (7:22.98).

Which three drivers will run for the championship Sunday will be decided when races wrap on Saturday.

96.5 The Ranch is the radio broadcast home of the 2025 WPCA (World Professional Chuckwagon Association) Pro Tour. Live coverage of Night 7 of the Rangeland Derby can be heard this evening at 7:30 p.m.
