AJHL game in Olds cancelled due to mechanical issues with Drayton Valley’s bus

The Olds Grizzlys were slated to play twice at home this weekend, but they only wound up hitting the ice once.
Saturday’s game against the Drayton Valley Thunder was cancelled. According to the Alberta Junior Hockey League, the Thunder were unable to make the trip to Olds because they had mechanical issues with their bus. The game will be rescheduled at a later date.
The Grizzlys lost 6-2 at home to the Camrose Kodiaks on Friday night.
Olds will start the month of December with a home game this Friday versus the Drumheller Dragons. Friday’s game at 7pm will feature Royalty RV’s chuck a puck in support of the Olds Christmas Angels Society. Live coverage can be heard on 96.5 CKFM.
The Grizzlys remain in 6th place in the South Division with 10 wins and 13 losses so far this season.
