Olds Grizzlys Hire Assistant Coach

The Olds Grizzlys continue to enjoy a busy off season.

The black and gold have announced the hiring of Assistant Coach Brad Tobin.

The Delta, B.C. native comes to the Grizzly Den after spending 10 years as an assistant with Surrey Eagles of the BCHL and the last 2 seasons as head coach and general manager GM in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League with the Creston Valley Thundercats.

Tobin joins new head coach Peter Schaefer behind the Grizzlys bench, as the hockey season is just around the corner.

A news release from the team says Tobin and Schaefer will both be in town ahead of training camp to get a head start on the season.

The Olds Grizzlys training camp opens up August 23rd.
