LAMMLE’S WESTERN WEAR’S NEW MUSIC MONDAY – JULY 20

This week’s Lammle’s Western Wear’s New Music Monday spotlight is on Woodville Ontario’s James Barker Band. The James Barker Band began back in 2013, building a solid fanbase starting with their first single “Lawn Chair Lazy” which topped out at number 3 on the Canadian Country Music charts in 2016. Since then, they have released 4 EPs and singles. Their first full album was 2025’s One of Us. Over the years they have won acclaim in the form of Juno Awards, Canadian Country Music Awards and more. They even appeared in Olds during the 2018 edition of Oldstoberfest.

Since 2018, they have continued to rack up success after success. They’ve even teamed with other notable names including Dierks Bentley and Dean Brody. The James Barker band’s latest effort is their newest single “After Dark” which has been steadily climbing the charts since it’s release just a few weeks ago. “After Dark also happens to be our feature today on Lammle’s Western Wear New Music Monday.
