Westerner Days Fair and Exposition July 15-19

Chuckwagon racing, midway rides, live entertainment and more are coming to Red Deer this week as part of Westerner Days.

Central Albertans will flock to Westerner Park from Wednesday through Sunday (July 15-19) to check out all the sights and sounds.

Natasha Chappell with Westerner Park says there are many great food options and they are excited about the new attractions for 2026. Chappell says “particularly our Métis village which is happening in the chalet and it will feature Métis artists, bannock sampling, and outdoor attractions like the tipis and the trappers tents. We are also welcoming new artists including Juno award winners and local talent.”

She adds, Westerner Days takes over their entire park – inside and out – as they try to maximize all the fun their fair goers can enjoy.

Thursday is seniors day and then Chappell says on Sunday it is $30 dollars per car load for up to six guests to get into the grounds.
