Little Rodeo Pro among new additions for kids at Bowden Daze 2026

One of the highlights of the summer is the annual showcase of our western heritage in the Town of Bowden.

The 2026 edition of Bowden Daze offers fun for all ages along with a junior rodeo on Thursday and then pro rodeo excitement from Friday through Sunday.

President Keith Bailey with the Bowden Ag Society notes that this year they’ll have a kids rodeo corner with Little Rodeo Pro where children try different events and learn about them. He says “everyone is welcome. Come out visit with your neighbour, check out the rodeo, go to the cabaret. Just have a fun weekend, that’s what we are all about. Our committee has been working really hard to get the grounds ready. They’ve put in a tremendous amount of work all year. They’re a great group of people. We couldn’t do it without them, our sponsors, and spectators. So, to everyone I say thank you and let’s just have a great weekend.”

Bailey adds, there is free camping with your Bowden Daze rodeo ticket and a ball tournament running all weekend as well. They’ve been sharing lots of great pictures and more ahead of the event on the Bowden Agricultural Society Facebook page.
