2026 Rural Alberta Motorcycle Ride For Dad recap

While the weather didn’t necessarily cooperate, the Rural Alberta Motorcycle Ride For Dad still headed out on the province’s roadways on Saturday, June 27th.

Co-Chair Gil Enns says from Didsbury their route took them east to Three Hills, west to the Sundre area, then to Olds and back to Didsbury’s Zion Church to wrap up the day. Enns says “we had about two dozen riders. It wasn’t bad. The rain it didn’t hinder us too much but the roads were good. We had a good time. Yeah, we put about 280 kilometers on.”

He says they were able to raise just over $4,200 on Saturday for prostate cancer research and awareness. Since 2008, the Rural Alberta Ride For Dad chapter has raised a total of about one and a quarter million dollars. Learn more about the fight against prostate cancer online here.
