Put it in drive: MV Pistons annual show and shine back on for July 11

The Mountain View Pistons will try again to go for a rip this weekend.

Their 19th annual Show and Shine was postponed due to inclement weather last month, but the new date is this Saturday, July 11th.

According to President Neil Morrow, they’ll be set up in Uptowne Olds early Saturday morning and to register your car it is $20 dollars. He says “all the money we get from our participant’s entrance fees – of the $20 – plus any funds we have left over from our sponsorship money, we donate to local charities in Town. We usually hit about six of the local charities in Town every year.”

You can check out the Pistons Show and Shine at 10am on Saturday and they’ll hand out their awards at about 2:30. View more details on their website.

The rescheduled Summer Oldstice event is also on Saturday with Uptowne Olds will be putting on a pancake breakfast from 8am until 10 and the Kiwanis Club serving lunch from 11am until 2pm.
