High water flows and risk of flooding results in closure of Water Valley Campground

As the steady rainfall continues this week, Mountain View County is updating community members about the status of its public parks.

The Water Valley Day Use and Campground is closed until further notice due to high water flows and the risk of flooding.

Bagnall Park remains open, however, Silver Creek is experiencing high water volumes and visitors are urged to exercise caution with these conditions posing a risk of flooding and potential creek bank erosion.

Residents are encouraged to report any concerns related to roads or infrastructure via Mountain View County’s Report A Problem service.
