Night one of chuckwagon racing at the Grande Prairie Stompede wrapped up with Rae Croteau Jr. finishing at the top of the pack.
His Catalyst Production Systems Ltd. outfit crossed time was 1.14.55.
Gage Flad was second with a 1:14.58 in his Baron Oilfield Supply wagon, Chance Flad and Control Tech was third with a 1:14.62, and then there was a tie for 4th with Cruise Bensmiller and Steelhaus Tryton, along with Dale Young and Astro Oilfield Rentals Ltd. The matching time for Bensmiller and Young was 1:14.68.
