Olds RCMP hoping to find owner of ‘Llama on the Loose’

Mounties in Olds were called in for a report of “Llama Drama” along Highway 27 this morning (May 27th).

The animal on the loose was spotted near Highway 27, east of Range Road 23 west of the Town of Olds.

According to Olds RCMP, the llama “appeared calm, uninjured, and completely unconcerned about the attention it was receiving.”

Police would like to find the owner so it can be safely returned to its home.

Anyone with information about the owner or where the llama belongs is asked to please contact the Olds RCMP detachment. The administration line is 403-556-3324 while the incident or complaint line is 403-556-3323.
