Lots of dough-nations collected for local organizations during Smile Cookie Week

Six local Tim Hortons locations combined to raise nearly $50,000 during Smile Cookie Week.

The proceeds will help out groups and organizations in this area including Heart 2U Didsbury ($7,352), Sundre Nutrition for Learning ($10,312), the Innisfail Health Centre Fundraising Committee ($15,214), the Boys & Girls Club of Olds and Area ($2,566), and the Olds & Area Pregnancy Support Centre ($14,194).

Quinn Jacobs says the numbers are down just slightly from last year but they were thrilled with the support from the surrounding communities and they couldn’t have done it without the amazing local charities decorating the Smile Cookies and taking in the orders.

The exact Smile Cookie Week total raised between April 27th through May 3rd for the two locations in Olds along with the ones in Innisfail, Sundre, Didsbury, and Bowden was $49,638.
