Support for the Didsbury Lions Club helps them support the community

The Didsbury Lions Club hopes that raffling off an all-terrain vehicle can help them move people around the community.

President Carey Hamelin points out that you can go to raffle box to get tickets for the 2026 Honda Rubicon ATV/Cash Raffle. He says “we are trying to raise enough money for a new shuttle bus. We do provide a very inexpensive shuttle bus service to the community as well as those in wheel chairs, the elderly for their appointments and things like that.”

Hamelin says the Didsbury Lions Club is open to anyone and you can join them at one of their meetings. Hamelin says “we are always looking for new members. It is not an exclusive club. If you are interested in serving your community, definitely come to our meetings. We welcome new members, we are not exclusive, you know, anyone who wants to join of any age.” Their meetings take place on the first and third Thursday of every month at 7pm at the Didsbury Elks Lodge.
