Community Connection Centre offering wide variety of 55+ programming in March

The Community Connection Centre in the Town of Olds connects people and builds community.

Heather Dixon, Community Development Supervisor, is excited for some of the great upcoming activities they have for those ages 55 plus.

Starting on March 11th they have something new for those ages 55+ who want to get creative and try to do some painting. Dixon says “it will be an eight week water colour class for our 55+ population and we have limited spots available in that. That program costs $80 for the eight weeks, so that is pretty exciting.”

Follow the Olds Community Connection Centre on Facebook for more details or call visit their location on 51st Avenue. Dixon adds, March 4th from 1-4pm they are partnering with Boomer Movers to have a De-clutter to Downsize Workshop at the CCC.

March will also include the regular monthly 55 plus cooking class at Holy Trinity Catholic School on the 18th from 10am until 1pm. Call 403-556-7480 to register for any of their programs.
