AgSmart taking year off in hopes of blossoming for return in 2027

AgSmart will be pressing pause for 2026 but it will be back next year with stronger national focus and an expanded vision.

Organizers note that taking this year off is “a deliberate and strategic effort to regroup, realign and reposition the event” which had its 6th anniversary edition in 2025.

AgSmart is a multi-day educational expo at Olds College that brings together producers and industry leaders to explore data and technology-driven solutions in agriculture.

Todd Ormann – Vice President, External Relations & Research at Olds College – says the break will allow them to support Agri-Trade and reimagine AgSmart as a national agricultural learning conference with emphasis on applied research and real-world impact.
