Unofficial Town of Bowden municipal election results: Only one incumbent re-elected

The 2025 Municipal General Election has brought significant changes to Town of Bowden council.

The two candidate race for Mayor in Bowden saw Laurie Miller voted in with about 69 per cent support and over 150 more votes than incumbent councillor Paul Webb. Miller received 279 votes, while Webb’s total was 125.

There were 9 candidates gunning for a seat at the Bowden council table. The lone incumbent councillor to unofficially be re-elected was Randy Brown with 237 votes. The rest of the new council will be made up of Ryan Howlett (300), Amanda Peffers (253), Carol Pion (231), Marietta Tuckwell (198), and Cam Morrison (190).

The three other council candidates that came up short were all incumbents – Deb Coombes (176), Sandy Gamble (168), and Wayne Milaney (161).

The results of this week’s election will become official on Friday, October 24th at noon.
