Mountain View Colts Gear Up For 2 Game Weekend Homestand

The Mountain View Colts return to action tonight.

The team has been idle since last Friday night, when the blue and red saw 2-0 and 3-1 leads slip away against the Coaldale Copperheads only to lose 4-3 in overtime.

Their November 23rd road matchup against the Okotoks Bisons was postponed, that game will be made up at a later date this season.

The Colts are (7-10-1) and with 15 points they are 4th in the Heritage Junior Hockey League’s Northern Division heading into this weekend’s action.

Mountain View will host the Ponoka Stampeders tonight at the Didsbury Memorial Complex, the Stampeders are last in the Northern Division with a record of (1-18).

Puck drop tonight is at 8PM.

The Colts will then turn their attention to the Airdrie Thunder, who will travel to the Corral on Saturday night.
