Fire Ban issued by Mountain View County

Effective today, Mountain View County has upgraded its Fire Restriction to a Fire Ban.

It will remain in place until further notice and the County points out that propane fire pits are not permitted during a Fire Ban.

With the Fire Ban it is also noted that all current fire and fireworks permits are cancelled and no new ones will be issued until it is lifted.

No one is to ignite a fire – regardless of exemption status – except for barbeques, internal household fireplaces and AER flaring.

Full details about the Fire Ban can be found on the Mountain View County website.
