Mountain View Mavericks Playoffs Begin Tonight

The Mountain View Mavericks will begin their Rocky Mountain Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League playoff run tonight, when they take on the Calgary Chill.

The Central Division play in series features the #2 seed Mavericks with a record of (14-5-1) and #3 seed Chill with a record of (8-10-2).

The winner of the best of 3 series will move on to battle the #1 seeded Rockyview Silvertips, who hold the same record as the Mavericks but won the tie breaker to land the top spot in the Central.

This is the first time in franchise history that the Mavericks have made the postseason, they’ll host their first playoff home game tonight in Innisfail when they welcome the Chill.

Mountain View was (3-0) versus Calgary this regular season, including a 12-10 victory in Innisfail this past Sunday.

Game one between the Mountain View Mavericks and the Calgary Chill at 8PM at the Innisfail Twin Arena.
