Fully loaded: Plenty to see at Olds Gun and Antique Show

For a dozen years, the Olds Gun and Antique Show has allowed community members to rifle through some memories during the month of August.

Show Manager Linda Toews mentions that they will have 250 tables this year, great camaraderie as always, and a portion of the proceeds will support a handful of local charities. Toews says “So there is Special Olympics Olds & District, Wild Rose Go Getters Women’s Institute, Olds & District Special Family Voices, the 1st Olds Scouts and we also do donate money to the Foothills Calgary Unit 57 Hematology.”

The Olds Gun and Antique Show runs from 9am until 5pm on Saturday, August 15th and 10am until 3pm on Sunday, August 16th at the Future Ag Events Centre (formerly the Cow Palace) on the Olds Regional Exhibition Grounds. Admission is $10. Children under 12 get in for free when accompanied by an adult.
