Lammle’s New Music Monday – Kalsey Kulyk – Cut Him Loose – July 6

This Week Lammle’s New Music Monday spotlight is on Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan’s Kalsey Kulyk. Born in a small town in Saskatchewan, Kalsey found an early love for singing and songwriting. By the time she turned 19 it was clear that Kulyk’s talents were bigger than her small-town upbringing could hold. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to work with producer Richard Dashut. A year later she won the CCMA Discovery Award for new talent and moved to Nashville to continue her progress.

In December 2019, Kulyk married fellow Canadian Country star, Eric Ethridge. During the pandemic her and Ethridge returned to Canada and now live in a small Alberta town with their son Wilder. Kelsey will spend a few days on the road this summer including a stop in Didsbury on August 22 for the Station 5 event.

Her latest album “Her Rodeo” was released in March of 2026 and her latest single from that album “Cut Him Loose” single “Cut Him Loose” has been climbing up the charts. “Cut Him Loose also happens to be our spotlight on this week’s Lammle’s Western Wear New Music Monday
