Monday night finish in store for Bonnyville Chuckwagon Championship

The chuckwagons in Bonnyville are rolling one day behind schedule.

Rain postponed Friday’s show so instead of concluding on Sunday the four-days of World Professional Chuckwagon Association racing will now finish up on Monday, June 8th at 6pm on 96.5 The Ranch.

The four drivers who have qualified for the dash for cash in Bonnyville are Logan Gorst from Saskatchewan (3:53.68), Chanse Vigen from Calgary (3:55.25), Darcy Flad from Bodo (3:55.40), and Rae Croteau Jr. from Strathmore (3:56.12).

Croteau Jr. had Sunday’s fastest time of 1:17.87 seconds.

Dale Young from Sundre is fourth in the permit driver standings as they head into their last night to try and earn a full-time spot on the 2026 WPCA Pro Tour. There are eight permit drivers battling for four full-time spots.
