Plenty of community members got their paws on tickets to the Wild Rose Humane Society’s Big Bash ’26 event.
It included a live and a silent auction, dancing and more on Friday, October 23rd at the Didsbury Elks Hall.
Julie Gregg with the Wild Rose Humane Society points out that they were able to collect about $7,600 dollars thanks to their fifth annual Big Bash. She says “so we feel confident that we are kind of making our mark in the community, people are starting to know that we exist and a little bit about who we are. You know, the word starts to spread. You keep doing these events and people come out and you start to get a reputation on the positive side, which is great for us.” She adds, the amount they raised at the Big Bash was ‘on par’ with last year.
You can donate to them at any time of the year by heading to the Wild Rose Humane Society’s website.
