Keep tabs on road construction season in Olds via Voyent Alert app

Road resurfacing work is underway in the Town of Olds.

According to Mayor Dan Daley, it is a result of a study done on the quality of the roads in Town that was done in 2025 and crews are now tackling some of the more major routes to get them back up to standard again.

He adds, a major project on Highway 27 and 57th Avenue going north to Shannon Drive will start on Monday, June 1st. Mayor Daley says “that is going to be a major disruption to traffic and so, if you have the Voyent Alert app then you can refer to that for traffic patterns and road closures that may be happening in that area.”

Daley highlights the fact that you may see crews out there now starting to prepare for that work to start with line locations and utility locations. Get the Voyent Alert app via the website olds.ca.
