Rotary Club’s 2026 Los Amigos project bringing bikes, vans and trucks to Mexico

A convoy rolls out from the Rotary Athletic Park of Olds on Saturday, April 4th at 9am.

This year, 7 members of the Rotary Club of Olds are driving two fire trucks and three-handi vans to deserving communities in Mexico.

They are also packing 15 bicycles to pass along to children there. The bikes were repaired by members of the Olds Men’s Shed with an assist to supplies provided by the Kiwanis Club.

This will be their 13th trip as part of the Los Amigos project.

The Rotarians from Olds will meet up with others in Lethbridge and a total of 10 of them from Olds, Brooks, and Lethbridge Sunrise will be making the trek to Mexico.
