The Olds Farmers and Farmerettes Open Bonspiel included fun, fellowship, and competition last week at the Olds Curling Club.
Lorne Anderson won the A Event Championship, the B-event winner was Adam Winter, Brett Houchin captured the C-event, and Gary Richards emerged victorious in the D-event.
Organizers are passing along thanks to all the sponsors who make the annual bonspiel possible and the fans who cheered everyone on all week.
This was the 44th year for the Olds Farmers Bonspiel and this time around it featured an open format for mixed teams with each one requiring a minimum of two spots for either active or retired farmers.
