Record number of meals served at annual Christmas dinner

The Olds Legion and the Olds Lions Club continued on the tradition of Henry Sonnenberg with the annual Christmas dinner on December 25th.

Linda Anderson, President of the Olds Legion, points out that they set a record with 520 meals served this year. She says “we would love to thank all of the volunteers who came down to serve and help in the kitchen, and the community itself for sponsoring this event.”

She notes that 305 people sat down for the Christmas dinner at the Olds Legion, and there were 215 takeout orders.
