Sundown in Sundre coming up on Friday

Sundre is set for an evening of festive fun this Friday with Sundown in Sundre, running December 5th from 5 to 8 pm.

Events include an open house with cookie decorating and hot chocolate at the Den Youth Centre, a firepit and hayride at Back to Basics, and free dinner from Kodiak Grill at Sundre Farm & Feed Mill.

The Sundre Palliative Care Association will also hold its Tree of Hope lighting ceremony at 5 pm outside the Sundre Hospital.

Photos in the Enchanted Winter Wonderland take place earlier in the day from 3 to 7 at Whispering Willows, with donations supporting Sundre Nutrition for Learning.

An elf treasure hunt is happening all week on the Discover Sundre app, and several local businesses will be hosting activities, food and giveaways.
